波塞冬跟得墨忒尔生的那马姑娘

"When Demeter was wandering in search of her daughter [Persephone], she was followed, it is said, by Poseidon, who lusted after her. So she turned, the story runs, into a mare, and grazed with the mares of Onkios [in Arkadia]; realising that he was outwitted, Poseidon changed into a stallion and enjoyed Demeter. At first, they say, Demeter was angry at what had happened, but later on she laid aside her wrath and wished to bathe in the Ladon . . . Demeter, they say, had by Poseidon a daughter [Despoine], whose name they are not wont to divulge to the uninitiated, and a horse called Areion."

神马伊利昂(Areion), 它能像人一样说话。在攻打底比斯的七位英雄中，只有国王阿德拉斯托斯幸免于难，逃脱了底比斯人的追击，这要归功于海神波塞冬和农业女神得墨忒尔所生的神马阿里翁——他乘着神马幸运地回到雅典。

波塞冬和美杜莎

波塞冬变化成一匹马的模样，与美杜莎（Medusa）发生了性关系，根据某种神话记载所说，美杜莎是一位美丽的肯陶洛斯人（Centaur，即半人半马怪物），因为他们的交合地是在雅典娜的神庙之中，童贞女神便惩罚犯下渎圣罪的美杜莎，把她美丽的长发变成了一头毒蛇。美杜莎为波塞冬生下了两匹著名的马：克律萨俄耳（Chrysaor）与柏加索斯（Pegasus），它们都是在珀尔修斯砍掉美杜莎的头时从她的身体里生出来的。

对了，说到女儿，我记得我也有个女儿来着，还是个悲剧……
